Artists – Join our Family!

What kind of art does Splash like?

Splash Festivals’ outdoor art shows are very colorful and fun, and we look for art with that same personality!  Our events focus on whimsical and creative art, as we believe our large crowds enjoy having a great time as they stroll by the very dynamic booths.  Splash Festivals hosts exhibitors who produce products in these categories:  Clay, Culinary Arts, Fiber, Folk Art, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Paintings, Photography and Wood.  We require all art to be handmade by the exhibitor, with no “buy-sell” allowed.  Items that are imported or represented by anyone other than the artisan is not allowed.

How does Splash send out applications?

Our events are by “invitation only,” which means we seek out artists whose work matches our shows’ lively and happy personalities.  So, our artisans are all “pre-juried” by us!  Invitations are sent out via email approximately seven months prior to the individual show.  Once the invited artist registers and pays for his/her booth(s), space is confirmed.  There are no additional application fees.

How much are Splash art events?

Spaces range from $265 to $375 depending on the show.

All booth spaces are outdoors. Artist parking is free. Corner spaces are an additional $75 and are limited. Power is an additional $50. Once an artist is sent an invitation and registers online, payment is due within thirty days to confirm the space.

What are the sales taxes?

Every artist will receive a sales tax reporting form when they check in at the beginning of each event. If you have misplaced yours, after downloading the Miscellaneous Event form for Sales Tax Reporting, you’ll need to complete it and mail it within three days of the end of the event. Sales tax rates change, so please check with the State of Georgia Department of Revenue for the correct rate.

How do I get an invitation to a Splash show?

If you feel that your art is a good fit for our events, please connect with us through the Contact Us tab above. Also, attach at least four photos of your work and a clear photo of your booth.  Note that the jewelry and photography categories fill quickly, and at this time, we have very few openings in these very popular mediums.
