The Rectory - Circa 1900
17 College St.
The Historic Norcross Holiday Tour of Homes has a very exciting bonus!! In addition to the beautifully decorated homes, the enchanting Rectory, located adjacent to the popular Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center, will open its own historic doors to showcase an artisan gift market, featuring local and regional artists and exhibitors.
The Rectory, built in the early 1900s, sits up on a charming hill, directly across the street from Norcross City Hall (which is where Tour visitors will get their wristbands). The turreted old house, with original floors and four fireplaces, is often used for gallery exhibitions, parties and meetings.
Visitors can expect to see wonderful, one-of-a-kind items for their holiday lists throughout this home, a true historic gem in the City of Norcross. Artists’ displays will feature jewelry, clay, fiber, mixed media, paintings, glass, culinary treats, metal and so much more. Stocking stuffers and ornaments of all shapes and sizes will be showcased – so shoppers will be delighted to purchase these colorful creations!
The Rectory will be open for everyone on Saturday, December 7, 2019 (during the Tour) from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. Admission is free. No Tour tickets are necessary.
Saturday’s free shuttle will drop off Tour visitors to the homes and also to the Artisan Gift Market, so shoppers will have plenty of time to search for goodies. The Rectory is located at 17 College Street, Norcross, GA 30071.
